(Considering that yes, I get it, we donāt know why Katie stayed with Schwartz so long) bottom line is if Iād spent 12 years with a man that treated me how Schwartz treated her ON cameraā¦meaning it was much worse off cameraā¦I wouldāve lashed out just as much as she used to. Not excusing it, Iām just saying I get it. I personally understand that type of resentment even though I havenāt tried to work through issues with someone for that long. Plus, she left the relationship in ORDER to grow. Iāll never forget how broken Katie looked end of season 10 when she said āI have so much hatred inside of meā. She didnāt want that sitting on her chest anymore. So you can feel however you feel about her behavior in the past, but I think sheās a bad*ss and did what she needed to do to get rid of the baggage in her life that was preventing her from being her kindest, most confident self! Why would Ariana ever have anything to do with Schwartz? He actively conspired to dupe her regarding Scandoval, and lied to her face and helped try and set her up to be the fall gal. So absolutely she should keep him blocked and at a distance.

Iām a big fan of Katie. I see a thirty something woman who knows her worth and seeks authentic connections. She is comfortable enough to realize when a relationship has run its course to move on. I also think people misconstrue her directness with being unhappy, but I see an enlightened person stating the truth.
