RIP dear man. You were a wonderful composer and brought such delight into the world. I'm honored to be able to play your music myself and it has given me endless joy and happiness. ๐Ÿ’”

I bought this cassette of December for the man that I was dating and we were falling in love back in 1987 by the time I heard it and it's 2023 and we're still together married now and he is about to enter into an assisted living situation due to failing health, so imagine how I feel when I hear songs from this album, bittersweet.

You know how it's common knowledge that a piece of music takes you back to a certain time period in your life? it is so hard for me to listen to this gorgeous piece and not just sob from my soul..

Heart broke a bit when I heard of his passing. George was my first love in instrumental music. My dad and I donโ€™t share much in common, but we do share a love of music and laughter. He introduced me to George Winston and we watched him play barefoot in concert. Fond memory.

I bought this album because I grew up in the mountains covered in aspens. Thanks George for all of your beautiful music and peace it brought to many. Now the heavenly orchestra has another soul to brighten the universe. Thanks.

It's so heartbreaking to listen to this. I miss my dad so much. He used to play this while I take a nap when I was a kid. Listening to this give me a mix feeling of warmth and unbearable sadness.

This is the album my father plays during Thanksgiving dinner to welcome in the Christmas season... just listening to it reminds me of my mom's homemade cranberry relish, stuffing, and turkey, with all the family gathered around the table...

Dear George, I had not learned of your passing until I came to this place to hear my favorite tunes for autumn and the holy days. Thank you, man. First heard you in concert at Knoxville, 1983, when you came out to play in jeans and socks. I became a fan right away.

My favorite song in that album, such power in every note. Depending on my mood it evokes feelings of relaxation or sadness. RIP George, may you rest with the angels.

My daughter learned to play this song right at the time my father passed away, and I simply cannot listen to it without tears streaming down my face. Every, single, time. Such a beautiful piece of music.

My wife Kari and I have had so many wonderful time listening to this and other composers he performed. What a gift to us all that we had the honor to have such beautiful music in good times and bad. God Bless George! Youโ€™ve earned your rest!

I, a Heavy Metal 80's guy got the privilege to see the pianist in 2000 and was just amazed! I still listen to his music in the winter.

This song sometimes makes me feel sad, sometimes relaxed, sometimes makes me feel in love. This song is just lovely in all the meaning of the word.

I first heard and recorded a small segment of this song back in 1982 and I spent many years trying to find out the title and composer information. Then as life goes on you forget. One day recently I was playing an old cassette that I had recorded and there I heard the small segment of this song again. This time I was determined to find out the title. My brother suggested playing the segment into my iPhone with Siri activated and Siri would identify the song. Sure enough that actually worked and I can finally enjoy the entire song after all these years. Sadly the composer died one month before I discovered the title. Apparently thereโ€™s other apps that do the same thing that Siri did. I guess we can add that ability to the list of amazing things computers can doโ€ฆ..

The FIRST music I hv ever heard since my birth. My mother used to listen to when I was baby. I feel some soft feeling when I listen to this, just like my mom's hug.
