I'm sure this movie did not intend to insult any one when it was made. Now seventy- five years later, it manages to insult practically everyone. How things have changed for the better. I've always liked Jack Haley, he played the Tin Man in,'The Wizard of Oz", and is wonderful in 'Moon Over Miami". Helen Walker is beautiful and beautifully dressed throughout,, a pleasure to watch. Rudy Vallee with a megaphone in his hand, and not singing pulled at my heart strings.
The morales the writers gave their characters are all too frequently contemptible, this is a hard to laugh attempt at comedy.
