Now, I'm far from being a mixologist, but I'm inclined to believe that pretty much anytime you put absinthe into a cocktail, it quickly overpowers everything else in that drink. The ever clear just bumps up the abv a bit, so what you're left with is a super herbal, black licorice drink, with maybe a hint of tomato juice...
