I got married a few months ago and our DJ had this song queued up at the 3:45 mark. When we were announced as husband and wife and I got to kiss my bride this song started playing. Best moment of my life.

Let me just say, these kids have chops. I went school with them and they have a lot more to share with us. They will always be a band I find reverence in the songs they play. The will always make good music. Ben, Tom, and Mark, I am really proud I get to be a fan!

I read an interview with Ben Schneider (the singer). He had a trip to Bali, Indonesia and got inspired by the local instruments there. Probably that's why you hear a bit of South East Asia influences in their song :)

It's touched me since I figured out that this sounds inspired by my homeland's traditional music. I loved this band so much before I knew about it. It makes me fall in love more deeply with this band! I love their music so much. and this band makes me feel alive again with their masterpiece songs. One of my favorites is What Do It Mean from Long Lost's album, Mighty, Son of a Gun, and others theirs majestic songs. I love their instrumental so muchā it's made me feel safer. And when I figured out that Ben got inspired by my homeland's classical music, it made me miss my homeland so much. Now that I live far away from my homeland, sometimes I miss how the gamelan music is always playing there and how I figured out the Kecak dance pattern in this video.

Saw this song for the first time like 5 years ago. I dont know why, but it popped in my head the other day and I was desperate to find it. I searched for this song for 4 days!!! I finally found it and im so happy. I couldnt remember the band or the lyrics, just the music video being western cowboys theme and the guy getting shot at the end and that they kinda had a The Killers vibe. My search is over. <3

I saw these guys in concert in Berkeley CA about a month and a half ago. What a wonderful show. Great band. The song lyrics are lovely. And the lead guy seems like such a gentleman. A special person.
So glad I went. I recommend them to everyone.

Just gotta shout this into the void. I first found this band right after my first suicide attempt january 2014. They were my good day band. Not quite sure when i stopped listening to them but i never forgot. I donāt know where iād be if i hadnāt stumbled across their music all those years ago but i do know that i will be eternally grateful for the light they brought into my darkest hours. Life could not be better right now. I have so much love. I am so blessed. Thank you for getting me to 19. Thank you for continuing to make music. Hereās to a few more years!
