The Danbury Branch is a picturesque Metro-North branch. This branch isn't electrified. The southern terminal of this branch is South Norwalk, where there are connecting trains to and from Grand Central (During peak hours, some trains operate directly to and from Grand Central. Those trains use dual mode engines since it's forbidden to operate diesel trains in the Park Avenue tunnel). The northern terminal, Danbury, is home to a small railroad museum.
