this song brings out so many memories or nightmares rather.. both. ones i haven't thought about in years... ones i never dealt with. just left them in the past and moved on. i didnt really understand back then that these things would become so clear to me as an adult with kids now, that what i was living through was sick shit with sick men that i truly thought i loved. i didn't realize not dealing with it would scar me either. i sit with this song on loop and those memories flick through my head like a movie. i cry through them, i have imaginary conversations/arguments that i should've had in the past but didn't, i rage through them, and then i feel acceptance and peace that i cant redo any of it, but it doesn't matter now. because i learned so much and grew so much from it, even when i didn't realize it. i have so much more to say, but not great at accurately articulating all of my thoughts, but thank you billie. so much wisdom for such a young beautiful lady💙
