Composed by Martin O'Donnell, Michael Salvatori and Paul McCartney

"For millennia, humans have gazed into the night sky. We identified "wandering stars," spheres that didn't move in sync with the rest. These spheres became the inspiration for myths and gods, literature, art, and music. Seven of these are also part of the story of Destiny.

For untold ages the Traveler sent signals from deep in the galaxy to our solar system, signals interpreted and identified by the subconscious mind of humanity as music. Music that tells a story about worlds that have yet to be experienced, places that don't yet exist. The message of the Traveler, along with the inner harmony amongst the seven spheres themselves, has inspired what you are about to hear.

Author C.S. Lewis wrote, "Music which is too familiar to be heard enfolds us day and night and in all ages." We, the composers, are excited to present this realization of Music of the Spheres."

Back in 2014 i used to try and get on to any raid team i could, but all of them rejected me because i was a squeaker. I remember sitting in orbit waiting for a response, and after hours waiting, not getting a single one. The main theme from this is what kept me company in orbit when no one else would; and every time i hear the piano part at the end i tear up thinking of how euphoric it was when a group finally let me raid with them...

I remember a view years ago, I was making a presentation in my Music Theory class. We got to choose any artist we took some form of inspiration from, and most people would choose modern day artists, or some older bands; but I stuck with Martin O'Donnell. I was only about 15 when I chose him for the presentation, but I grew up with his music in a way. I grew up on Halo, then grew up through my teen years on Destiny, Bungie has been with me my whole life, and I can't be upset about that. When I was doing research about Martin's life and his career, I would put on his tracks in the background- just for background music. When I heard this song start playing, it hit me... It truly did, it made me just completely break down. It sounds stupid, but I truly did, his music has been their, the experiences through the music, and the atmosphere his music and the game makes is insane. I know Destiny, and Bungie have had their ups and down, but truly Destiny has saved me, and has been with me since its release. I can't imagine how my life would've been without it. The violin build up always makes me break down and have to pause, and reminisce. I'll always enjoy his tracks..

This is the most beautiful piece of music I’ve ever heard. It’s triumphant first half, with a beautiful second half are amazing. The trumpet solo leading into a flute duet give me chills. This piece really is a piece of art

I always imagine this song being like a guardian returning from battle triumphantly and the speaker or Zavala giving them some kind of honor

The opening of this reminds me a lot of the first part of Gustav Holt's Jupiter from The Planets, I feel as if a little inspiration was taken from that and incorporated in this.

1:24 6 years of playing this game and I haven't regretted a second of it, sure there are some rough patches but it doesn't matter to me, the community has been great and being a sherpa has tought me valuable leadership and social skills, best of all I met the best friends I could have ever asked for, and though i'll never say it I love them, no homo of course

There's a magic here that was present only in the 90s. It's "Welcome... to Jurassic Park!", it's Indiana Jones in the temple, it's "A long time ago, in a Galaxy far, far away..." all over again! It's John Williams, adventure and passion the likes of which are gone from most contemporary scores. Gentlemen, bravo!

You know. I won’t lie. I just heard this track at the end of Hush’s recent video, and it hit me like a ton of bricks. It took me right back to 2014, when my friend invited me over to his house to play the beta for the first time. We stayed up all night, and went into the weekend just playing Destiny. Man what I wouldn’t give to have those times back. Eyes up, Guardian.
