When I was much younger, I was super into dubstep and EDM. It was new, and I thought melodic dubstep sounded super dope. I was also incredibly sad at the time because of puberty brain chemicals and familial issues.
I was in 8th grade around then.
I stumbled across Eyes Half Closed in a dubstep mix and decided to look you up. The second song I listened to was Stay. After that, Ghosts.
Then it was the entire EPs they were found in.
Since Dysphoria, I’ve been waiting for each new single or EP/album’s release on the night it releases. I’ve been following you on your journey, and you’ve come a long, long way.
It probably sounds forced, cliché, or dumb, but I carry your emotions with me. I feel them in your poems, your words, your instrumentals. I want to say I—along with many others—understand.
