1. Use a wet brush or something with flexible bristles 2. Brush from the bottom up 3. Pat/dab with a microfiber towel 4. Don't use a lot of hairspray/product 5. Use a water-based leave-in conditioner 6. Leave your conditioner in for at least two minutes.

Tell hairdressers this coz theyā€™re always ripping your hair out of your head when itā€™s wet!! Iā€™ve actually had to tell them to stop!! They also rub your hair between a towel aggressively when wet!! Itā€™s embarrassing having to tell a hair washer and a qualified hairdresser to stop wrecking your hairā€¦..especially when youā€™re paying high end prices!! I hate wrong with these people???!!!

Chris, I just came here to say I started following your tips about two months ago because I was at SUCH a low point. I was undergoing a lot of stress and my hair was falling out like crazy (I normally had medium hair but it became super thin), and my life has completely changed! I used to have to wash my hair every other day because it would get so greasy and I felt so defeated, but I just went FIVE DAYS without having to wash it and I'm so excited right now!!! That's like a record for me, even when my hair was healthier months ago. My stylist even told me she's noticed a huge difference in my hair health. THANK YOU!!!! ā¤

I have been dyeing and bleaching my hair since I was 10, i'm 19 now and just made the big leap to shave off all my hair and grow it out fresh and healthy. Hopefully with your tips, tricks, and product advice i'll get my dream hair! Thanks for all you do :) (also going to be wearing wigs instead of dying my hair lol, I just got my first one, I love it!)

I have always had oily scalp and dry hair. So, I had to shampoo my hair every other day. But since I listened to you, I started double washing method and can finally have 3 days in between my hair wash days. Also applying a little oil at the ends helps a lot ! Thank you so much !! No oily scalp till 3 days and bouncy hair šŸ„ŗā™„ļø

Chris, I can't thank you enough. I have fine, hair that I have spent years bleaching the life out of (literallyšŸ˜) but with your videos I have stepped up my hair care game, my hair is actually growing now instead of breaking off at the slightest blow of the wind. Leave in conditioner was something I only saw people with textured hair using and thought there was no way it would benefit me. Boy was I wrong! I am back in my hairdressers good books and she's amazed at the much healthier condition of my hair.

Hmm. I grew up in the 80ā€™s/90ā€™s and a wide tooth comb was recommended to detangle wet hair while using a brush was the kiss of death for your wet hair. Fast forward, I now use a wet brush & like it. I learned a lot with this channel. Thanks for the free education. šŸ’œšŸ’‡šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļø

Listen to this man. I started following his "triad of hair care" and it made a world of difference! A few extra tips I've found helpful: When I put conditioner in my hair, I gently "squish" it in there. That way I get all the hair, and not just the top. And finally, when applying leave in conditioner (make sure it's a conditioner, not a "mask"!), I lift my hair up and let it fall as I spray. I noticed I was really only getting the top layer a while ago, making the top nice but everything under it still frizzy. "Fanning" my hair out to apply the leave in made a huge difference! Oh! And I had (had) really dry hair, and the thought of two washes was frightening! I thought it would dry my hair out more, but no! Do it! If you grew up in the 80's this all might feel counter-intuitive but trust me, what Chris says WORKS!

Why am I not surprised Chris is the kind of guy whoā€™d take his mum to a Coldplay concert and stay in the same hotel room as her. He just seems like a stand up guy šŸ˜Š
