A major aspect to take away from from this album is BeyoncĂ©âs research on Ballroom/ Vogue culture. The little ârapâ section on the end of Heated is called Chanting/ Commentary or commentating and itâs well known and used throughout ballroom culture! Also Pure/ Honey is Ballroom music at its finest with a little smidge of Prince dedication. And with that she sampled Moi Renee, a prominent figure in Ballroom and also Kevin Aviance. This album was clearly meant for the gays and Gworls lol and i luv it

The fact that this album is also paying homage/tribute to Solange & Bey's uncle Johnny who was a close friend of the family who assisted Tina with raising the girls while they were growing up just hits you right in the heart. He'd help decorate the house, cook, clean & make their dresses. He unfortunately lost his battle to HIV complications years ago so this album in a lot of ways is a love letter to ballroom culture/the LGBTQIA+ scene, him & the way that he influenced her & Solange through his lifetime. Her mind is beyond immaculate. Bey really IS that girl!!! <3
