Technically speaking, adult Tristan could be a very good replacement for Margaret (and if he does have dual passive, he will also keep rotating between goddess and demon meta every now and then, depending on which release currently dominates after him)
Now, we don't know when that will happen and even if we assume Anniversary WILL start 4KOA, I assume Percival will be the first release, so Tristan will take a bit to say the least.

I almost believe that LR Margaret was done last minute because they intended on making Gowther LR, but scrapped it to make him a UR fest unit. And it would make sense as LR Gowther would’ve been UR Meli’s support instead of LR Margaret being Liz’s support

Honestly speaking there's nothing wrong with margaret she's as her intended role in the team if we are looking for something damage wise for a replacement that's just not gonna happen mael and liz are already doing that. Base Margaret maybe should be replaced but LR margaret is giving something to the team her buff card is situational could be a life saver sometimes, her AoE card let's you crit against new units with absurd amount of crit resistance, for whales that might not seem that relevant but that is because you have insane amount of stats from box/constellations/cosmetics but for the majority of players that extra crit resist/defense strip is doing a lot. What the goddess team really need is a proper back unit.

Margaret was clearly designed to work with green sariel. Mael and Liz working the way they do is just unfortunate , but if sariel gets an Lr, Marg will be just as relevant on there. Though despite that flaw, i do still see her as a must run on goddeesses - unless the next release is a Ur that can replace her, her lr cc is invaluable. What godesses need is a tristan relic - then it will be complete

Honestly I think Red sariel should get a LR since he has 2 attack card so he would already be helping both Mael and Liz who needing attack card plus he’s passive is decent(Increases Goddes Allie’s basic stats by the value of 20% of the hero’s basic stats) maybe make that also 20% attack related stats and he could be the front unit to replace Margaret (plus his Holy relic ig is kinda mid so that kinda suck but atleast you will get it maxed in 2 turns)

adult tristan should have annihilation in his passive like a debuff, lets say he has a goddess style attack and demon style attack, if a goddess ally attacks the enemy it will put like a white orb (Ark) and when a demon ally or tristan with his demon style attack hits the enemy, annihilation will be put on the enemy. As for annihilation's effect, im pretty sure they should make it a debuff that allows allies to deal true damage (bypasses defense stats) since it was stated in the manga that you pretty much cant block or tank the attack with either magic or physical durability.

they could fix the synergy of the team by either changing the wording from attacking or make all blue cards count as single target and aoe.
