We always have home birthday parties. I love theme parties. We have had a pirate party. Everyone dressed as pirates, even the adults. A mad professor party. We did experiments. A nerf gun party. A hello kitty party, Minnie Mouse etc.

I have always loved home kids parties for my kids. It’s not only cheaper but I like family and friends hanging out longer than the 2-3hrs time slot allocated at the kids party places.
