The simple way... Linus is wrong, Steve is right. One of the most important issues that Steve mentioned is if you want to criticize someones product you need to be 100% sure on your findings and LTT is failing on that.

What LTT did to Billet Labs is out of this world crazy stupid. And then to have a come back of something like "I didn't sell it, I auctioned it" really made me question the authority we've given him as a collective whole through subscriptions and everything else.
Then there's this gem:
LTT's response after Steve's video: "While we haven't sent payment yet, we have already agreed to compensate Billet Labs for the cost of their prototype"
So then Gamers Nexus to Billet Labs seeing the above as part of LTT's response to Steve's video: "[Linus' comment] doesn't expressly say it, but it seems to imply that this agreement was made previously"
Billet Labs to Gamers Nexus: "No. Absolutely not. No, no, no. The only mention of any money to do with the prototype was our response to them [after they said] they'd auctioned it, and we basically said, you know, that was a [redacted dollar amount] prototype."... ... "I said do you plan to reimburse us for this? And we heard nothing. We didn't get a response until your video."
