Crazy how people can now become weed scientists but there are still people locked up for smoking weed

I don't understand how someone can down 30 beers an hour and smoke 2 packs a day then tell me a joint or 2 per week will kill me and is super dangerous

I'm a veteran, was actually addicted to alcohol and cigarettes. I suffered severe depression and mental disorder. Got diagnosed with cptsd. Not until my wife recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 8 years totally clean. Never thought I would be saying this about mushrooms.

Psychedelics are just an exceptional mental health breakthrough. It's quite fascinating how effective they are against depression and anxiety. Saved my life.

Amber was my biochem teacher back in the day and made the class interesting. Glad to see she made it in life lol

The fact that people can scream, shout, sing and fight outside my house at 3am under the influence of alcohol - yet I'm a criminal for just wanting to sit with a game, a bowl of cereal and a puff to help me get to sleep just baffles me 🤷🏻‍♂️ (UK)

my uncle got diagnosed with stage 4 esophageal cancer and was given 5 months to live, 3 months in he started actively smoking weed and 4 years later he’s still with us. not saying it saved his life or is the reason he’s still here, but it overall made everything more enjoyable for him.

DMT was life changing for me. I became one face of a multi-faceted experience prism, my side being my particular life experience. My awareness expanded and my social anxiety and depression was entirely gone. Truly magical!

My best friend is a recovering Fentanyl addict, he wouldn’t be here without cannabis. Thank you for advocating on the use of cannabis while getting off of opioids.

You can tell she's a true blue educated pot head because of how well she interchanges her educated terminology, and the current slang. Great episode here.

As a biochemist and pharmaceutical researcher, I can say her chemistry and pharmacology are very accurate. Great educational video.

I'm in my 60's. Growing up, one of my friends got bone cancer and lost his leg at 13. He was one of the very first people to receive chemotherapy and they dosed it really heavy at the time. This made him terribly nauseous. The doctors put him on anti nausea medication which in turn gave him grand mall seizures. I was there for two of them. His dad was a pharmacist and even his dad was glad to see him smoke pot instead.

As a cancer patient I can say it helps on every level imaginable. Pain, anxiety, mood, sleep, nausea…& on & on 😊

As a professional in a completely different subject matter. I appreciate the 'weed talk' like a normal human discussing the subject "in da couch" and "hot boxing". This is how educators keep the audiences attention. I expect a scientist to know science words, but the presenter shouldn't expect the audience to know science words. Thank you Dr. Wise! .. o and Wired

Thank-you! That was very educational, and informative. One subject in particular was handled with the most deliberate grace I’ve seen exercised on the matter for a forum such as this one. Great job!

Working in the cannabis industry for a couple years and seeing how much research and videos like these come out to help break the stigma makes me so happy :’)
