Hey! :] First and foremost-thank you for sticking with me,
I have been and am going through allot and editing had been a struggle thanks to lack of time and lack of inspiration, but I found that forcing my way into a story sometimes allows me to tell it more clearly, as I view it from the outside in a way. The first time I watched this movie-I was terrified, I'm scared of clowns (which has a real name, so I discovered thanks to the film) and I remembered the 1990 mini-series to be much scarier than it actually is, but I was upset and I was crying and I missed someone so being scared was the better alternative to what I was feeling, I was expecting a jump-scare Hollywood film but what I found out instead was a smart, beautifully shot, BEAUTIFULLY acted coming of age film with a sensitive and intimate undertone to it and I found it to be extremely moving rather than extremely scary. I have watched it allot since and also started reading the masterpiece of a book. I'm a writer so I deal with dialog allot, and a visual dialog between two time frames and between music and image is a fascinating idea for me to explore and try to create. I copyright the stills on the adult cast slides because I feel like I have come a long way for this new language to unfold on screen and one more thing (I apologize I know it's long)-this is a somewhat interactive video, meaning that there's a playful element to it.
