My nonprofit acct was closed by Wells Fargo and their useless cashier checks were sent to us with the money that was in our acct. the only problem is that NO ONE will take nor cash those cashier checks: not even Wells Fargo!! I asked them why they closed the acct both saving and checking and the only answer they could come up with is that of of our board members not even ON the acct only had a PO Box listed for their address and I told them that was required as a animal rescue otherwise people would be dropping animals off at all the members houses!!
The cashier checks are worthless!! I want to know where the hell is our money!!! What is Wells Fargo doing with it!??

Snyder, Are you aware that they changed the laws on 2nd mortgages? Before 2017, you could take a second mortgage on your home and spend it on whatever you want. And the interest would be 100% tax deductible. Now they're denying tax deductibility on second mortgage interest unless it's specifically used for home improvements or additions. If you use it to consolidate credit card debt or pay down other debt, you're denied all tax deduction on the interest! I just found this out yesterday. That's a way to control our spending right there. We can no longer take the freaking Equity out of our home and deduct it on our taxes unless we spend it on WHAT THEY DEEM APPROPRIATE!

Oh I've had the first one happen to me and my bank blamed me for this "suspicious activity" on my own account and blamed me for giving my banking account information out to someone when I didn't and my money was actually being stolen and I was being blamed for it and they said that they were shutting down the account because of the suspicious activity and then they said that they didn't want me banking with them anymore!!
