I might have the wrong impression of aperitivo. My husband and I were visiting Milan a few years ago and we stumbled across a place that had aperitivo. For 9 to 11 euros paying just for the drinks, we got a whole buffet of food without extra charge. We wouldn’t believe the waiter when he told us we were just paying for the drinks. It was piles and piles of pastas, salads, meats, rice dishes and even desserts for all you can eat. We were SO FULL afterwards and there was absolutely no more room for dinner! Is that normal?
