Just got an XP Lite Monday. Haven’t ridden a bike in 40 years. Watched all the “Videos” and really struggled picking which to buy. Wanted a step through but decided I need to move it myself. The light is heavy enough at 46lbs. We’re camping and I have gone 45 miles so far in the campground. Figuring out how to brake, turn, and avoiding squirrels! 😁😁😁. So happy with my purchase! I’m 65.

Great vid and to the point. Having both side by side definitely helps visualize the size difference.

Thanks for sharing! Seems like both are good deals depending on the person. I think I’m gonna go for the lite just because I’m gonna have to carry that thing up the stairs every day haha

honestly if they made same barebones bike but with like 750 watt motor it would be a winner.

I wanted the blue Lite, looks way better than the 2.0 in black. However for $200 I couldn't pass up the front suspension, larger battery, fenders and the comfort seat package etc. Blue XP light.....lol. My 2.0 is on the way. Thank you for sharing your experience and thoughts.

If you have the 200 I think the 2.0 is a way better deal. The only advantage that the lite has IMO is it's lighter and has two more choices of color. I was leaning towards the lite until I came across your video. Thank you for taking the time to do the comparison. I think I would have made a mistake buying the lite. Enjoy your day.

The Lite is a good bike to have in a collection. I have an aventon level which is my commuter bike and also does great on trails plus it’s fast but the lite is so much fun to zip around with and do bunny hops on and off curbs.

Great video. Thank you. Will help me make a decision. Some feedback is not good. I hope that doesn’t happen for me. How long should I expect it to take to get one?

I was really debating both but after having the Midnight black Xp lite for almost a month now I've made the right choice, the 20mph is perfect for me living in NY and the 46pounds on the light is still pretty hefty but it's made the difference already trying to put it in a trunk and having a little more control of my vehicle being not so tall (I'm 5'8) I thought the bikes were amazing by reviews , I'd bet u anything they'll blow your mind in person the lite is so beautiful

Wow! That xp lite performs pretty good. Power weight ratio equals the xp power overall.

If your mainly going to ride from home around the neighborhood and to the store I would get the 2.0 You can just strap a milk crate to the rack on the 2.0 for lite grocery store pickup. If your a camper or like to drive and unload at a bike trail the LIte will be far easier to pack and unpack. 46lbs vrs. 65lbs. Or I could say if your strong get the 2.0 it is bigger and has more range, a rack and fenders, fatter tires, front suspension etc. If not get the Lite.

Something else to consider when deciding between these two: Check your local laws. Where I'm at, a class 3 bike (XP 2.0) is classified as a motorized bicycle and can't be ridden everywhere that a regular bike can. A class 2 bike like the XP lite doesn't have any such restrictions.
