I have streamed a few playthroughs of Survival, but the speedrun eluded me until recently. I didn't expect to beat the World Record so soon, but a few newer strats helped me reduce the time by over 2 minutes. This run will be improved eventually, so lookout for more runs. the coolest and best thing about survival mode is how every time I use a stimpack I now have to also consume 13 full bottles of water. its totally realistic and the very definition of fun.

It's funny, people always go on about how did QA miss all the bugs in FO4. I always wonder how did NOBODY in QA not play through the intro and come to the conclusion that it's just way too long and drawn out. Especially when you take the tutorial in the vault into account.
It's just so replay-unfriendly.

coming to this late, but wanted to throw something out there. you mentioned wanting a bed close to the end -- not sure how "close" it is to the end, but you could hit the button on the elevator, then sprint over to the med bay in the Institute (no loading zones), and use those beds in a pinch. a reload would end up requiring the ride up the elevator again, but it's an option.

Im jealous that he can run full tilt through downtown boston dodging explosions without fearing the game crashing or dropping frames.
