Thank you for such a genuine caring personality and an intuitive way of teaching and relaying instructions.
I am a very small framed, 63 year old man battling a Parkinson’s related disease called Oromandibular Dystonia that has taken away most of my ability to speak and chew and swallow, my neurologist has said that learning to play an instrument like a guitar could possibly help heal the nerves and synopses in my brain.
I plan to try and invest more time in learning to play, thank you and God Bless You.

You are amazing Lauren. When most people give up on the older generation because they think we are a waste of time and unable to do very much, you are a bright shining light we have been looking for.
Thank you for explaining things so clearly and allowing us to believe in you and your teaching method.
I have just turned 67, been learning for 10 days and really enjoying the journey with your teaching skills

I am 72 years old. I have picked up my acoustic guitar many times over the last 50 years. I’ve given up every time. Your video has given me the confidence to continue playing as bad as I do and maybe I’ll get past this stage. So many of your points describe what I’m going through as if you watched me. Thank you.

I had no idea there were so many students my age or much older learning guitar, and it is such an encouragement to me! Lauren I want to commend you because you care enough to amplify these lessons and make learning the guitar easy and fun. You dot every i and cross every t, these are great tips and I'm improving, little by little. THANK YOU SO MUCH, anyone can teach, but very few actually CARE and are willing to work with students to help them accomplish their goals and you are one of a kind!

This woman is a true teacher. As a professional guitarist & victim of a stroke I am determined to play well again. Lauren is a Godsend. She's a truly talented teacher. I'm not ready to try playing in front of my friends or anyone at this point but I feel more & more motivated as I watch each lesson. Bless you Lauren. You are helping someone return to their life's passion.🌹

I'm almost 65 (January) and I just bought myself a concert (I also have tiny hands) guitar as an early birthday present for myself and I find your videos really, helpful and encouraging. Once I get my basics down and improve my dexterity I will deffo be looking at your lessons. I consider this to be the warm up period. Thank you
