The name "Lost" is so ironic. The song itself was lost in the archives, hidden away in a folder for 20 years, that's literally insane.

I'm just proud to say that I'm one of those 15 yr olds when Linkin Park's first album was released... when LOST was released yesterday, I literally cried. I just love you guys so much...

Isn't it crazy how a 20 year old song is better than 90% of current music industry

Who else wants Mike to do a fort minor 20th anniversary? It’s 2 years away. I’d cop some merch from that 100%

I have to say that I respect Mike so much.....my daughter lived and breathed Linkin Park...and before she passed we ran into Mike in a sushi place in LA ...he stopped , talked , posed for pictures, really made her day, when I’m sure he had a bunch of things he should be doing ...I’ll never forget that

I am 36 now and was 16 when Meteora came out, and I've been a fan since Hybrid Theory. I was crying while listening to Lost, especially knowing how things ended up with Chester. These lyrics hit different now - as do ALL their songs, because now all those dark stories are put into a perspective. Listening to Chester's voice was such an emotional experience. And so much nostalgia! Thank you Linkin Park for everything that you've done for me and for millions of fans all over the world.

My son is almost 13, and he discovered Linkin Park shortly after Chester left us. He was so bummed, he wanted to see them so bad. When I saw the new song, I played it on one of our speakers, and he comes running down where I am "who is this?! What song is this, I've never heard it!?" After telling him, he just lit up "Wait, they have a new song? How? Are they going to make any more?" Mike, if you guys make more music and tour, please come to Denver just so I can bring him.

I’m fairly young still. I’m 21. But I’ve been listening to Linkin Park since I was like 5. Hearing Lost yesterday really hit me hard emotionally because hearing Chester again in a “new song” really impacted me. Thank you Linkin Park for everything.

Mike and Chester always showed this child-like excitment for their songs, like a child trying a new fun activity and loving every moment of it, while still being on the top of their game, that's a recipe of success, do good, and have fun doing it.

Lost was found. God, listening to it was a tear jerker. Not only that Meteora spoke to a lot of us emotionally, but the fact that we get to hear Chester's voice again in a different song hits the tear glands hard.

I met him in Copenhagen a few years ago on his first solo tour. When the M&G ended he said: "I kind of don't know what to do with myself now, because usually there are five other guys with me." and he asked if he could hang out with us for a bit, because he was really nervous before the show. It says a lot about what a humble and genuine person he is, despite being an insanely talented musician, producer and visual artist. Every time I've met him he's been so sweet, funny and attentive! I have infinite amounts of respect for this man! Edit: Also, I really enjoyed the whole thing they did with the website and countdown! I almost felt like a 13-year-old again! I remember the whole virus conspiracy theory, it was a big deal, but hilarious in hindsight!
