THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT is an album that might be a bit more controversial than it deserves to be

ngl I havenā€™t clicked on many of your videos lately because itā€™s felt like theyā€™ve all been negativeā€”listening to the worst song, worst albums of the year, etc. I clicked on this video just to see if you might have something interesting to say, and I was greeted with a very pleasant surprise as you said you were coming into this review with an open mind despite all the hate getting thrown around. Seeing some positive content was so so so refreshing, as itā€™s what I love most about your channel. I hope you keep making more positive content, even if it does worse in the algorithm, because thatā€™s when I get the most out of your content. Keep it up, bread.

I remember listening to "Fortnight" the exact moment it was released and I got extremely infuriated and violent because Taylor did not sing about drinking chug jugs and REFUSED to start hitting the griddy. I hate when artists have to lie for clout...

Can't believe such underground artists like Taylor Switch are getting attention from mainstream media. So happy for them!

I still canā€™t get over the fact that most of these songs are about Matt Healy

I wasn't a fan of this album, but THANK YOU for standing up to the chat. So many creators inadvertently create a toxic and hateful place, and then do nothing to attempt to mitigate it. So refreshing to see you calling people out on their bullshit when they want to hate on things without giving them a chance. Definitely investing in bradcoin now

Honestly, I donā€™t enjoy her music at all but people are really weird when it comes to her.

I can do it with a broken heart sounds so chaotic because it has her in-ear monitor track under it, so weā€™re hearing what she hears while performing on stage. The song basically about how she was starting the biggest tour of her career while depressed and drinking copiously

I came for the Taylor album reaction, but I really stayed just to see if Brad would accidentally stand up.

ā€œIā€™m tired of going into music saying I expect it to suckā€ Honestly that was really cool to hear you say. This was hands down the most fair and well put together youā€™ve been in a review. As someone who was also kinda whatever on the album, I agreed with most of your points. Good video!

Imagine traveling back in time to 2016, and telling a Taylor Swift fan that Taylor Swift would eventually collab with Post Malone.

The songwriting is ok but the instrumental pallet of the production is so samey and safe that it brings down the whole experience.

Jack Antonoff should be imprisoned for his repeated failure to sabotage Taylor with his repetitive ass production style

Bradley: ā€œItā€™s provocative. It gets the people going!ā€ šŸ˜‚ Thanks for giving this a fair shot Bradley. Appreciate you having an open mind because it makes the whole video a more pleasant and enjoyable experience.

I think that if this came out in a vacuum, or if taylor swift was an unknown artist that nobody had heard of, it would have got a less divisive reaction from both sides. I've seen people calling it the worst album of all time, I've seen people calling it amazing. It's neither. It's pretty okay. That's about it

thank you brad for really giving this album a fair chance. as a sort-of-swiftie iā€™ve felt the chat has been really against her but it feels nice to hear you actually try for this.

she has access to work with the greatest musicians and producers right now, and she still has the most safe and basic instrumentals possible

As someone who has been a Swiftie for 15 years, Iā€¦. Really fuckinā€™ liked this album, I donā€™t know what to say. Iā€™m not one of those people who think Taylor can do no wrong, far from it. But this album resonated with me in a way that not even MIDnights did and the more I sit with it, the more I really do love it. Iā€™ve already seen the ā€œlol this is gonna win Album of the Year at the Grammysā€ and while I agree it doesnā€™t deserve it, it deserves it a lot more than fuckinā€™ Midnights did, thatā€™s for damn sure
