missing the 2015 - 2018 when Charli XCX being ahead of the time, releasing the scope of the future of music. Too bad, XCX world didn't come to fruition and hoping Charli would make it up with it. I miss SOPHIE and her trademark sounds

Thanks for explaining everything. I became an Angel when claws first came out, so my knowledge of the historical XCX canon is a little lacking. I will say though, an alarming number of people mourn the loss of XCX World, while continuing to ignore the absolute masterpiece that True Romance is, especially considering how it came before PC Music and Charli finding her sound and people.

I really really love this unreleased record :/ I listen to it almost everyday, especially since the mastered tracks leaked in early 2020. This album just has a consistent sound and flows great from start to finish. The deeper cuts like Die 4, I Wanna Be With U, Can You Hear Me?, Waterfall, Queen Lizzy (even Issues or Our Boyfriend since they were at one point contenders) are almost as strong as the deeper cuts in her self-tited album, Charli.

I love this album and especially Come To My Party. I wish she would've dropped that song in the monthly singles era (apparently she actually reworked the song in early 2018), it really deserved its own moment :(

The songs from this album seem so interesting but Charli seems like she is ok with this album not being released so I guess it’s ok that it’s scraped but I would still love if she used the concept of an xcx world for a future album something big and a whole new place a complete deep dive into the xcx brand and image, it would make great contrast with her pervious album how I’m feeling now, I see on some of her recent merch the words planet xcx so who knows? 👀

Tbh I think this was the best outcome for XCX world, because CHARLI and how I’m feeling now I personally think topped all of the tracks on XCX world. I also feel like charli took that obstacle of the album fucking up and made it work in her favor.

I'm a little but relieved that xcx world never made it to the light of day just because pooplantic's input made the album too commercial, straying it away from it's pc music roots. The only way I'll accept an xcx world album in any capacity is if it's just charli and sophie (and maybe ag).
