I would pay to see a Table for Three with Bret, Vince, and Shawn. Oh boy

Now tell me there's been a more important superstar backstage than Taker

He's having trouble talking about this situation because of the guilt he has. Its common to lose yourself when trying to talk about something you regret.

Imagine if taker had just went- “I know” and walked off when he talked to Shawn.

Taker did an interview earlier this year saying he told Vince that he needed to be in the loop if stuff like this was going to happen again. He also said he couldn't pull rank on a guy like Bret who had been around the company much longer than he had been. I think Taker was more upset that he was left in the dark and didn't know what was going down.

I appreciate that the Undertaker was so well respected not because he was the biggest, not because he was the most popular, not because he was the best, not because he was the toughest, but because how he handled himself in his early days and gained the respect of those that came before him. Truly a tale of giving respect gets respect.

I still haven't forgiven Shawn for putting Marty through the barbershop window 29 years ago.

All I could think of during that interview is when RVD was impersonating HBK

Bret knew that after him Taker will be the locker room leader. And he was not wrong.

it wasn't just the montreal screwjob that made everyone hate him. it was everything he did, from the stuff with vader, to trying to bury the rock, not wanting to lose the belt to stone cold, overselling for hogan, it's how he was as a person. with that being said he is one of the best of all time, no debating his skill that's for sure.

The Undertaker is easily the highest respected WWF/WWE Superstar Of All Time. I saw him live in the late 90s. When he walked past us going to ring, it's not all gimmick. The Dead Man has a "presence"about him..

Well apparently he is more afraid of taker. He even shrugged off Orton's punt. That's how you know the mere presence of taker is more dangerous than a literal kick to the head.

"Ding. Ding. Undertaker started to unwrapped his fists, change, got in the car and left. Because Undertaker cared about the business and provide everything to go the right way" - Jim Cornette

You don't often hear someone of HBK's level... the top of his chosen profession... admit that when he would get home and look in the mirror he didn't like who he saw despite the image he portrayed on TV. Very awesome to see such humility and honesty from him. Mistakes don't need to define us, we can be remembered for how we bounced back rather than how we fell and he is a great example of that.

"leave that image, that of junk and go home and just be Shawn Hickenbottom sitting in front of the mirror and thinking "damn dude, your the most hated guy in wrestling" The most poignant statement ive ever heard from a professional athlete. The Power of Self Reflection is really underestimated

Why does Shawn Michaels always look like he's doing a long division problem in his head when he talks 🤔
