Stella and Cameron were on their way back from the Northwest Astrological Conference in Seattle when they came through Denver on a road trip back home, so we decided to meet up a record a conversation where we talked about a bunch of different astrological topics.

I'm Gen X and remember the "New Age" trend in the late 80s. It sort of died out as we got careers and had children. It's good to see young people like Stella and Cam discover and teach occult knowledge. Blessed be.

IMO, the moment of birth is not random "chance". I've listened to too many interviews with those who have had near death experiences or who have undergone regression hypnosis. The consensus from those who have had these types of experiences is that we plan our incarnations, including the moment of birth. This makes it even more compelling when considering the birth chart as a plan for our life. Within that plan, we do have a certain degree of free will. If we have resolved our karma around a certain part of our soul's evolution, we may not be affected as intensely by certain chart dynamics and transits, but from a karmic (soul's plan) perspective, our life will express most of the elements contained in the birth chart.

GREAT podcast. I enjoyed the philosophical and contextualizing exploration of topics. The references to quantum fields Cameron offered were insightful. This episode is a favorite, and chocked full. . .maybe one that I’ll listen to again. Stella’s calmly spoken intelligence, and Cameron’s wide think. Wish they can do one of the monthly previews some time. 😊

In tracking my personal astrology transits for 18 years now and daily astro journaling for 3+… I’ve been noticing a difference in how I experience the whole and placidus house systems.
I see my chart os an experiment in consciousness and I experience it like an unfolding story or script.
The whole sign experience for me is that of a biography - what someone would write about the observable experiences and thematic narrative of my life, with some inferences of what lies beneath.
The placidus experience is my autobiography… my personal fairytale - the story of my inner experience that can only be revealed by me and is entirely subjective by nature.
