I am 62 years old now, and that song still gives me the same gut feeling that I had as a kid hearing it. Such a wonderful thing to have that memory inside myself be reawakened each time I hear Hotel California. Thank you so much Don...... There's still no Eagles without you my friend.

I bought that album in Cambridge, Massachusetts in 1976. I was overwhelmed with the incredible talent on all of the songs. Felder is the Rembrandt of guitarists! I wore out my ears and my stereo listening to it. Everything about that song is clever. Chords, leads, lyrics, and tone. The producer that threw Joe Walsh into the band was a complete genius!
