Massive fan of this guy back in the late 90s. I didn't know he was still doing things. I thought he was an electronic musician for a bit and then faded away. I've actually still been hearing his music in movies and didn't realize it. His Junkie XL stuff with Rudeboy from Urban Dance Squad was some of my favorite stuff back then. Melange, Billy Club, Roster... those songs were blowing my old Nissan up back then.

Whoa, I never thought these two worlds would come together. This is like the nervous moment before your two groups of friends finally meet... and then everything goes great.

24:40......... YES! Experienced that same situation. "I want to go back to samples" after recording live orchestra with Prague Orchestra (and spending tons of money). I was dumbfounded. ughh.. This whole world of film scoring is a challenge.

His breakdown of Furiosa's Theme from a couple years back is still one of my favorite youtube videos to date.

Wow. This video is amazing. Tom's channel is an amazing and the first channel that really breaks down film scoring in the most accessible way. It's a great analog to Rick's channel from the contemporary rock aspect. Thanks guys, this really means a lot to us. You guys are embracing the most valuable aspect that youtube provides - education. I would love a thousand more hours of this. Keep it up Rick!
