I signed into Google just so I could comment here. You are an absolute genius. Not only are you talented but you have a way to make the listener feel somethings so beautiful, so happy. I’m laying here exhausted after work and literally jumping up and down in my bed listening to this on repeat. Thank you so much for sharing your gifts with the world. I hope one day I can see you perform this piece. God bless.

I love your captions as they tell your stories. I am sure all of us are eternally grateful for your putting yourself out there. There are many great musicians and of course you are among the brilliant. And I've said this before but I'll say it again: what sets you apart from others, it's not simply your immense creativity, talent and skill, but the depth of your soul. Your kindness your graciousness your sensitivity your passion. Your refreshing and healing, from-the-gut honesty and forthrightness. Thank you Lionel Yu for being yourself before the world, and setting for us all and generations to come, such a wonderful example. You are leaving behind you a marvelous Legacy. God continue to bless you richly!! :-))

I have never studied music but used to have fun writing and sequencing it... I look back on my older stuff and have been too afraid to play around... I love watching channels that teach but also love that you were afraid to share this... maybe now is my time to make my old hobby born again! ty :)

You were born to be a musician, Lionel, and blessed to have your composing as cathartic release. I've just re-listened to your more evolved 'Eternal Sunrise' (Piano Trio) played at the Kennedy Centre this year... Truly blows me away... It is heart-wrenching, mesmerising, mournful, majestic... building up into something of sublime beauty and glory. You are one helluva composer...

This was a brilliant performance!!! You may many times think that people don't get your emotions, and while that might be true, there are people who turn to music for finding expression of their emotions, and they might find it in your performance, whether if it was something you wanted to convey, or was it something they found for themselves in your playing. Amit was excellent as well! I would "wow" seeing such surprise. While it may be better to explain many things beforehand, mysterious changes on the stage I think are very welcome, and should even be encouraged <3 Much love for every performer in that sense, performing that which they see to be amazing on stage, without faltering to the doubts coming from others' opinions. You all rock! And Lionel Yu ROCKS OUTSTANDINGLY ALONG!

"Writing music is like leaving a bit of your soul in this world". That is so true. I heard a bit of your soul and loved it. You should be very proud. Your soul has a lot more to say so keep composing.
