Just to let everyone know that Faux Pas is actually in Gotye's band so the guy obviously has talent. He's trying to do something different with the song and i think it should be appreciated. Give the dude some props.

The like to dislike ratio: perfectly balanced; as all things should be.

Definitely really good as a stand-alone remix. When compared to the original, obviously it's extremely different. This is more so based on sampling than actually covering the song. Come on, guys. Gotye posted it here for a reason.

I appreciate this for being completely different to any other version of the song I've heard. Originality shouldn't be so hated.

this song reminds me so much of Chicago house music from the 80s and 90s

For me, as I'm not a listener to remixes in general, this is awesome. It's minimalistic and totally changing the feeling of that song. It's less remix more a new born song.

My first reaction was to hate it, but I gave it a chance, and it's a very good remix. completely different, but very good.

It gives the feeling of old American "chill techno" meets the "cha-cha-cha" genre of Cuban music. Okay. Okay. This is my official second favorite remix of the original version of this song. Of course, the original is still my favorite. πŸ˜‰ Tysm, Gotye. πŸ€—πŸ€©

Remixs are as good as the song especially when they have a lot of details like this one!
