So here it is, my very first drum cover on this channel. Not sure how everyone will respond to it, but please let me know down below in the comments!

I picked a hardcore song because it's fun and gets your blood pumping, plus Varials are a great band out of Philly that are near and dear to my heart. Anything to Numb is my favorite track off of the album Pain Again.

Edit: It seems a lot of people are asking about the recording setup used here. You'll see one "overhead" dynamic mic for direct sound, but there's also a bass drum mic used as well as an iPhone plug-and-play mic for room noise. I find it picks up cymbal/ambient sound very well and I'm pretty happy with the outcome.

Some folks are also requesting a rig breakdown. I'll try and be as accurate as possible as it's been a while since I've upgraded or taken inventory, be here goes:
