Unlike many other YT guitar channels, you are always able to explain the real-life techniques that are just as important as all the scales, modes n such. Thankee much!

I like how it doesn't take much to sound good, if you know when to play, and where to play...Oh and practice, practice practice...

Another way to get musicians to want to play with you is to have a van that can carry all their gear. ;-) Thanks for another great video Ian!

WOW! Watching this video was like a lightbulb moment. Great insights and practical advice. I pay $20/wk for guitar lessons (in person) and Ian is just dropping diamonds...like, no big-whoop...on YT FOR FREE. Thank you good sir. By the way, you have a nice voice amigo. You should showcase it more often. Cheers! :).

This is the same chord progression as London Wainwright III's "Dead Skunk in the Middle of the Road" which is also a great RV sing along tune. He probably wrote it while RVing across country.

You are genuinely a good teacher. I love the stash vid some cat tried to bust that progression as his own. I layed on that diminished chord with him and he knew he was caught. Then we played limb by limb, he redeemed himself. Hey Stitch Man I have three guitars to give to the needy can you find a few people that need something in their life? no skill requirement i have a few nice guitars I had an easier time getting people to donate than I've had finding someone who needs them. Help!!
