00:13 - JBL inducts the Brisco Brothers 10:33 - Brisco Brothers speech I'm seeing a lot of people in the comments confusing the Brisco Brothers with the BriscoE Brothers. This is a good opportunity for you to do some research and get to know a little more about those who contributed to pro-wrestling being what it is today. Jack Brisco is one of the greatest pure wrestlers of all time, a two time All American and a former NCAA champion, he's also one of the greatest NWA World Heavyweight Champions of all time (i would put him on the top 10). Gerry was a member of the 1968 NCAA National Championship team. He won over 20+ championships during his pro-wrestling career. The duo won several regional Tag Team Titles, including the NWA and the WWF tag team championship. Jack and Gerry acquired minority interests in Georgia Championship Wrestling in 1982, and in 1984, after that, they convinced a majority of shareholders to sell their stakes to Vince McMahon. (This resulted on that Black Saturday episode and the WWF run with TBS from 1984 to 1985). Jack retired in 1985 while Gerry continued to work with McMahon to help make the World Wrestling Federation, now World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), a global business.

What an unbelievable introduction speech! That induction by JBL for the Brisco's, it might be the best one I've ever heard, that was superb

The great Jack and Jerry Brisco. The 60 minute matches in the 70s, with Harley Race, Dory and Terry Funk, Johnny Valentine, the great Dusty Rhodes, others. Those were the days !

I’m really glad they got to experience this before Jack passed away.

I was fortunate enough to have grown up in Florida watching the Brisco brothers perform in Championship Wrestling from Florida. I was even more fortunate to have met both men later in my life, and found them to be extremely nice gentlemen. Class acts in and out of the ring.

LMAO Bradshaw was a riot, he did really well for someone who wasn't supposed to be the inductor originally (Bruce Prichard was sick so he couldn't be there).

Two brothers from tarnada alley. I love going back and watching 'wrasslin' before my time to see who really had the goods and who didn't. You can tell the Briscoes could really stretch folks if they had to. And loved Gerry's promos when they were tweeners and heels in Georgia and Mid-South...great stuff. Much respect to the old school.

Back in the day, when Vince McMahon, Jack Brisco, Pat Patterson, The Fabulous Moolah, & Mae Young were together, that was SOME OF THE BEST & FUNNIEST spots the writers came up with... Pat Patterson, Jack Brisco, & Vince McMahon were ABSOLUTELY AWESOME TOGETHER!!! Much love from Mobile Alabama.

It’s alarming how many supposed wrestling fans can’t tell the legendary Brisco brothers to the indie ones. It’s why I can’t take many indie fans seriously
