As Mr. Toretto taught us. "Whether you win by an inch or you win by a mile, winning is winning."

JJ set out to argue that luck is never involved in winning a championship but ended up making a much better case that luck is always involved in winning a championship.

There's a degree of luck to everything. Even preparing. Because some random thing could make anything change.

I've never understood the asterisk argument. The same argument never seems to be brought up in March Madness or the NFL where teams only have to win once, and way more things are left completely up to chance

The bubble championship had everyone competing under the SAME conditions. I donā€™t how anyone could argue it being less of a championship. Iā€™ve never heard a good argument against it.

Love watching JJ grow as a broadcaster this is just the beginning of his ā€œpeakā€ in nba terms. And in this context heā€™s heading for the hall of fame

This is why I love Reddick. KD and the Nets were unlucky to lose thats eries but Bucks weren't lucky to win that championship.

Yeah. We can understand it, the point is that when the main piece can't play in a playoff series where two team have almost the same level of competition it's normal saying who is winning or losing.

Thank you JJ. I am so sick of hearing Giannis haters try to discredit that 2021 Championship, even though Giannis came into the Finals after what might've been a season ending injury in the ECFs. And the Heat vs Bucks First Round matchup was a series of unfortunate circumstances: the Heat (mainly Jimmy) playing with nothing to lose, Giannis getting hurt, the Bucks crapping the bed without Giannis and Coach Bud dealing with a personal tragedy midway through the series.
