I love seeing Mike being happy and smiling. He loves the music he created and he is passionate about it also. The Rising Tied has a grimy Underground Hip-Hop atmosphere, and it went gold and platinum. His iconic song, Remember the Name, went multi-platinum. It shows how a lot of people in this world felt connected to the album, and I’m glad it is one of the albums I love listening to it.

I listened to this album constantly when I was like 15-16.
Really helped me through a whole lot that I was going through at the time.
It was years later, of course, this album's about the same age as my younger sibling. But it's one of those rap/hip hop albums I've held on to because to me it really speaks the truth about certain things and it definitely doesn't pull any punches. Hard to find that in music you find all over these days.
