Nowadays, nature is overlooked more often than not. When it actually is the ultimate truth. During summer, our bodies need more sodium and potassium because of the hot weather and interestingly enough fruits and vegetables that grow in summer are richest in potassium and sodium is simply salt. Then with autumn, nights get longer and naturally people sleep a little more and interestingly enough seeds and nuts are richest in melatonin(the sleep hormone) so it again fits with our bodies perfectly. During winter there is nothing that grows freely on it's own so we would have to eat mostly canned and somehow preserved food, which is not as good as fresh and that causes toxins to build up. It's same with animals. During winter they eat dry food and that causes meat, milk and eggs to get this a little soury taste which is not nice. So when spring comes, the first things that grow are richest in antioxidants and that cleans the body from winter. So yeah, a seasonal diet is basically the best there is. And honestly, there is a lot more to nature than meets the eye, even tho a hell lot actually meets the eye but it still gets overlooked somehow.
