I found this song because of a hotel in Bude, Cornwall. I walked my dog past the outdoor bar attached to 'An Mor' hotel a dark, balmy quiet summer night... Music that I thought was not usually my taste was playing and the nearby kids adventure sports playground was teeming with kids laughing and playing... and I cried with happiness because life in that moment was good and my emotions were free. Immediately memorised the words and googled the lyrics: 'Kids' by Nick Rattigan... since then I explored playlists and found a genre that added to my widened horizon at 48yrs. This was one which stuck in my soul and has resonance for parts of my life. Be good to each other and appreciate the small things you have, don't despair for the things you don't have.
