I saw The Pierces for the first time back in November 2006 when they opened for Albert Hammond Jr. They were magnificent. I had probably started listening to them a few months prior to that so was able to sing along to the songs they played. Absolutely fantastic live, go see them if you haven't. I was also lucky enough to meet Catherine after the show and got her autograph, she was so kind and sweet. Completely love these girls.

Seven months to the day since I saw your face
You're on the earth like a fire holding out to the bitter end
You're holding on to the bitter end
I take a walk in the town
It's like a dead-end street
The sidewalk sings your name underneath my feet
Echoes of, forgotten love
Baby where did you go?
Did you sail away over some distant ocean?
Darling what we had
It cannot be taken
It cannot be stolen
And it won't be forgotten
No, it won't be forgotten
Summer disappears like a dream I had
And winter comes with a knife that cuts you down
And it never ends
Ooh, it never ends
I hurry past the place you like to drink alone
Seven months to the day you left me here on this avenue
And now I think of you
Baby where did you go?
Did you sail away over some distant ocean?
Darling what we had
It cannot be taken
It cannot be broken
And it won't be forgotten
No, it won't be forgotten
Seven months to the day and you don't leave a trace
I searched the cracks in the ground, the tallest buildings
They never knew, oh they never knew
Baby where did you go?
Did you sail away over some distant ocean?
Darling what we had
It cannot be taken
It cannot be broken
And it won't be forgotten
Baby where did you go?
Did you sail away over some distant ocean?
Darling what we had
It cannot be taken
It cannot be stolen
And it won't be forgotten
No, it won't be forgotten

Blame the radio stations for the lack of tasteful music, as is the way with everything in life today commercialisation is the dominant factor, Lovely music like this gets limited air time instead we are asked to listen to incessant droning or screaming from so called artists the cannot even hold a note. I will support the first radio stations that gives air time to this type of great music.

Two of the most underrated artists ever, these women are ridiculously talented! The videos are all brilliantly done, and the songs are just beyond exquisite. This one is my favorite, helped me through an extremely painful period of my life.
