Hi everyone! Welcome to my first video, a resin tutorial! Sorry its filmed very... simply😂 My camera's battery was dead and I'm an impatient person. I hope this tutorial is helpful for any artists out there!😄
**These arent adhesive stickers, they're just holo deco foil printed on clear film. You can use clear sticker film if you want to, though! This method will work for most kinds of heat reactive foil projects you're doing - I've used clear sticker film paper in the past and it has worked, with mixed results... definitely try different kinds of sticker paper!

🌸Instructions🌸
Here's some written instructions bc sometimes I ramble😌
Design your text in whichever program you like - I use clip studio paint, but any program that has a text formatting feature will work. Dont need anything fancy!
Make sure to leave enough room for you to cut around your images/ text, but dont leave a lot of waste bc stuff is expensive yo. Also, measure your images and resin molds to make sure they're the size you want/ so theyll fit.
Follow the instructions on your clear film/ sticker paper for printing. Make sure you print in BLACK TONER only, as the toner is what the heat reactive foil will stick to.
Prepare your laminator now! Set it to the 5 mil setting or your highest heat. It needs to heat up for 20 minutes or so, to make sure it's as hot as possible. The more heat, the better adhesion of the film.
Cut your deco foil to size, and if you havent already, cut your parchment paper to size. You want it to be folded over, creating a letter sized "pouch" that covers both the front and back of your paper. Make sure nothing sticks out of this pouch, as any exposed foil may damage your laminator (although a tiny bit is fine).
Apply your deco foil firmly to the "right" side of your paper (the side with the printed toner), with the pretty side of the foil facing up. Make sure you press down firmly and make the foil as smooth as possible - wrinkles will cause the foil not to adhere properly.
Sandwich your paper and foil into the parchment paper pouch. The order will be as follows from bottom to top - parchment paper, clear film/ sticker paper, deco foil, parchment paper.
With the folded edge leading, feed the parchment stack into the laminator. When it comes out, feed it through again. It will come out hot, but not too hot to hurt yourself. Let it cool if need be, but I could just immediately peel back the foil.
you're done! Cut out your new stickers/ clear foil!🥰
💖TROUBLESHOOTING💖
IF you have spots of black toner, you can cut out tiny pieces of the foil, place them over the spot, and run it through the laminator again. I did this after I filmed this tutorial and it worked really well! You may have to send it through a few times, but it does work.
These are resin safe, meaning they are not soluble! However, if you use sticker PAPER they will not be resin safe. You can cover them with packing tape to seal them, or coat them with clear nail polish to seal them and make them resin safe if you're using paper instead of film.
