The other title was “Songs I listen to while antiquing” but that sounded a lil too specific

MMM I love old songs

I'm playing this really loudly in my bedroom so the hundred year old haunted doll in my closet can feel nostalgic for a while. EDIT: Unhappy to report that little Charlie has set fire to my home.

its not creepy but its definitely those type of songs to play during very gory and tragic scenes in movies and especially on tragic endings

I can literally smell the dust coming off of this playlist, and I mean that in the BEST way possible

This is what I need: unintentionally creepy & relaxing vintage style playlist.

i think they're more dreamy than scary. like the old audio feels comforting and nostalgic, like being a kid asleep at a room in your grandma's house while a party finally begins to die down late into the night.

i know this is supposed to be creepy but i find this so beautiful and comforting, i'm into a lot of vintage stuff. and old music from time to time and it feels so soothing to my soul. i also LOVE creepy stuff so music that's supposed to be creepy makes me sleepy lol

This music sounded happy to people when it was first released, but now that several decades have passed, we find it creepy. It makes me wonder if any psychological horror movies released after the 21st century will feature a killing spree with I’m Sexy and I Know It playing in the background.

This song ("Sleep Walk" by Betsy Brye) played in the horror movie "The Conjuring", set in the 1970s, when the mother's house was getting haunted by an evil entity late at night while all of her daughters were asleep and the father was away out of state for his job as a semi truck driver. This song will ALWAYS creep me out because of The Conjuring...😳

i’m actually surprised that these songs are seen as creepy, especially we’ll meet again. that song is my one of my favourite oldies and it’s always comforting to me

Listening to songs from the 20s/30s always make me feel so weird, not in a creeped out way but more of a longing way. A longing for something I don’t quite remember. It’s the same way going to old cities makes me feel, or seeing those really old videos. I didn’t grow up hearing these songs or anything, because my grandparents were born in the late 40s so the oldest music I heard was from the 50s, so it doesn’t make sense that I would hear these when I was younger either. It’s almost comforting, in a way. Sorry if this sounds weird, I just want answers as to what causes this

2:22 is pretty sad actually.. knowing that you cant laugh or smile when you're around that specific person, but when they're gone you become sad you feel no joy ever.
