3000 in 1991 was a LOT of money. I looked it up and it says 3k in 1991 is 6k today. But that isn't totally accurate as to what it means. My rent in 1992 was $500/month for a one bedroom apt in Oakland. A one bedroom apartment in Oakland is now about $2500/month. In 1991 I could've paid rent for 6 months with $3k. zi was an adult and couldn't get my hands on $3k in 1991. My parents didn't have an extra $3k to loan out or play around with. These are 14 year olds that have access to that.
My point: They make all these movies about rich kids and try to make it seem like that's how everybody is/was. Its bulls****. This is not what America is.

Hard pass. Damn, I hate it when itâs going back in time. 1991 is when you had the faded blue jean, and the high top Nike or Mcgregors pump shoes. The year should be just 1977 or 2024. Take some notes from Full House, Family Matters and Boy Meets World or Step By Step
