Directed by Matthew Vaughn, Argylle is based on a script written by Jason Fuchs. The film is produced by Cloudy Productions and Vaughn’s regular collaborators Adam Bohling and David Reid, as well as Fuchs. Zygi Kamasa, Carlos Peres, Claudia Vaughn, and Adam Fishbach serve as executive producers.

I liked it. But I think some parts of it are just a bit too long, especially the, well, colourful one. It’s a bit too much comedy in that narrative for my taste. Most likely a good film for children I think. 🙃

I honestly think Bryce Dallas Howard was miscasted in this film! I think her role was probably written for other actresses like Amanda Seyfried, Emma Stone, Karen Gillan, Lindsay Lohan, Isla Fisher, Anne Hathaway, Scarlett Johansson, Tina Fey, Kristen Wiig or Sandra Bullock! I mean it’s rare to see a serious actress or Scream Queen like her take on a comedic role in a spy comedy film!

I really enjoyed this film. It’s incredibly well written with thoughtful dialogue. The story is meant to appeal to a general audience and to the regular (spy-movie) group of fans.
