yes! so much advertising & content today is made purely for mockability. it's becoming more and more obvious. I'd even go so far as to say that the sonic movie debuted the "ugly sonic" with the intent of redesigning it. bad things are way more viral than good things whether that's headlines or other media. Playing it during NFL does give it a lot of reach and a strong target audience, but I think its also designed to sound like a stadium chant or could be adapted into one , which gives it nearly infinite earworm potential.
