I worked in hospice/end of life care for a few years and have thus seen many deceased individuals, as well as having talked to them before their passing. In my experience, people tend to handle death better than they think they will once faced with it and having had time to process it. That being said, avoidable deaths in young people is what gets me the most. I don't think my experiences in tending to mostly elderly people with full lives behind them could ever prepare me for something like being an aid worker in a war zone. I don't believe there's any sort of afterlife, so that makes loss of young life particularly sad for me.

You are so incredibly articulate and I feel like my mind is expanded by your videos. I also get a funny feeling watching those cadavers because although they're preserved so they're not so dead looking you can't help but be reminded by their skin and hair that they were once a person with thoughts and feelings too. I remember seeing the baby cadaver (I think it wasnt aborted but was a miscarriage or stillborn) but there's something extra haunting about that one. Who they could've been etc

Can't imagine what it must be like right now in Palestine. What horrors people are witnessing at this very moment. It really does sometimes makes me question if there really is a god out there watching over us. Just the cruelty of life is what keeps me up at night and stops me from trying to at least enjoy my life. It's just very depressing.

I’ve also looked at dead bodies on Google before, just because I’m curious and I’ve felt SO criminal! And I really liked the Body worlds exhibit I went to in the past
