VERY well done! Back ground music was not obnoxious and was IN the background. Directions were clear and easy to uncerstand. Close up shots added a great deal. I am 75 yr old, retired clergyman, Bought a loom for my granddaughter, watched your videos and went out and got a loom set for me. Learning a new skill is diccicult at my age...but your videos make it much easier. Thank you!

Thanks for the video. I read through the comments and wa ted to leave my own that may help others. The yarn size you need is either: 2 strands of 4 (worsted weight) 1 strand of 5+ (bulky) If you dont know how to crochet just use a slip knot to get started. The cast off is a double crochet. You can actually take your crochet hook and push it through while on the peg and then take it off and repeat. If you don't know how to crochet this is hard. You, can find any scarf video that uses a loom cast off and it will be easier to finish. I used a number 8mm crochet hook for my cast off to go with my number 6 super bulky yarn. If your hook is to small or big it won't look right. It depends in your yarn size. You need more than a couple inches to cast off. At a minimum you need 24inches to 36 inches. Don't tie and snip leave 2 to 3 inches and weave your ends in. For a toddler or small child you need at least 144 yds of yarn. Approx 2 balls Teenager, or small/short women - 231 yds or approx 3 balls Tall man or heavy set person (or you want a long scarf) approx 304. yds or 4 balls of yarn If your cast off looks odd you can easily hide it with fringe/tasles (not my preference). Thanks for the great video. It was slow and easy to follow.

Thank you for this video. I’ve just bought one of these looms and was trying to follow the written instructions and all I ended up with was a knitted mess of yarn. Your video makes it easy to follow and understand.

So so helpful! I wanted to make my partner a scarf for Xmas this year, but the written instructions for my looms were definitely not beginner friendly, not for me at least. This video tutorial seriously helped me and gave me a new hobby to love, and a beautiful gift to give! Thank you so much!

I was just gifted one of these looms (May 2024) and even though it comes with an instruction book, and I already loom with circular looms, I couldn't quite understand the mechanics of the wrapping. Thank you for this great tutorial 🤗

I'm excited to try this. I can't do counted cross stitch any more, but I think I could do this. You're instructions are great!!!

This was a nice easy tutorial to follow. I feel confident to finally use the oblong looms. I did a hat on the round loom and was pleased with results. Thanks for sharing.

I did this a few years ago when I first discovered loom knitting in 2020, when at the Walmart I work at only had yarn, as fabrics used to make dresses and such were all sold out. Now, I’m kind of addicted to making not just scarves, but also baby blankets. I’m thinking of trying to make a beanie.

My 6 years old son is learning loom knitting and wanted to see an example of a final product with this stitch, so we felt on your video. He told me twice that you have a beautiful voice. I thought it was worth telling you ! Thanks for the video !

This is very useful, much better than the shitty instructions in the book. Every single time I start a new scarf I forget how so I need something like this every time. Thanks I'm saving this video :)
