Helpful tip: when raids start, raiders will zero in on buildings with advanced and valuable products inside them. This generally means storehouses that hold weapons, gold, clothing, etc. They might go after markets but usually will focus on storage facilities. Early on you can build your storehouses next to the town hall and wall it off with some walls and guard towers, making a central fort. Later on when you have soldiers and a barracks and military production, you can build a central fortification housing the blacksmith, armorer, etc and the guard barracks on an elevated location which the raiders will focus on.
They'll also try to rob granaries, which can be used as bait if you have a lot of flour production. Once a raider has stolen something they'll run off with their loot, so granaries can be a good way to divert attention from big raids since windmills and grain crops produce so much.
Another useful detail: schools will teach anyone, not just children! Adult workers will also be taught at the school if they have idle time, which is why immediately after building the school you'll have big graduating classes and later on there will be smaller classes.

big fan of how you approach games like this! might be a weird compliment but I appreciate how you acknowledge when you're wrong or misunderstood something - i used to watch another creator play this game and they always blamed the game when they misread something and it was INFURIATING. so this is a breath of fresh air! praise pravus!

6:02 don't grow tuber crops in summer haha! Tuber crops are an early spring or late fall planting. Summer is for grains, fruiting things, cucumbers, tomatoes, etc. That's really cool that the game helps teach these things.
Here in northern Idaho we're still hitting 28°F at night, so only things like the horseraddish are sprouting.

@Pravus , you build 1 wagon per worker in the wagon shop, also last vid you mentioned needing reeds for a basket maker, you can also use willow i believe, also don't forget you can transplant berry bushes to move them all into 1 area to make a berry farm to increase production. Finally you can use sand and clay to increase your harvest ability of your crops not sure but i think you need more sand which is a use for your sand pit forthe short term. you only need 1 access bay for the traders. The Arbolist brings his own tree's i believe for you to plant it takes a while for them to be set up but once set up they're quite a good source of food
