It's not difficult, but Dead Space 2's Hard Core mode has always been something I remember. There's something about that level of stress that I can't put into words.

The crazy thing with CoD WaW is that on Veteran, you encourage to keep pushing forward, push forward combat, which makes no sense, because of hitscan ai and grenades spam from the Ai but also when they spawn at your feet

On the Rock Band 2 endless set list achievement something that gets overlooked often is that if you have DLC songs then those get added to your list too. So base game is 84 songs, but it could easily be a couple hundred.

I started trying Mein leben! achievement in August 2022, invested hundreds of hours and did it in January 2023.
It was lots of fun, but also lots of frustration and despair.

Hardest part about 7 day survivor was getting my Xbox 360 to survive being on for that long. I put a fan behind it and took several breaks. My proudest achievement because my best friend was going for it at the same time and his console froze just before day 5

I've beat waw on veteran 4 different times in my life, it's my favorite cod. I started a new game a couple months ago and I couldn't beat the last 2 mission, I'm literally watching my gaming skill declined with age 😂

Man, the grind for MW2 Spec Ops was real. My friend and I played them together and we somehow managed to pull it off. That one in the Favela with the juggernauts in particular was damn near impossible. The only way we managed to beat it was some extreme cheese. We found a building to hold up in where I could body block them and they couldn't shoot my friend. They would down me, and I would knife them from the ground while my friend revived me. This process was long and tedious, but we eventually did it and got all 69 stars. Good times...

The LASOs solo for me was the biggest one i ever did. And it was on a limb i did it cause i wanted to prove to my chilhood self i could do it. Then i found your guys channel and was proud to see you guys make it through it. Aside from that i would say DOOM (2016) and eternal on ultra nightmare was the next biggest achievment, even though its not classified as one

I think for the stanley parable one, you can change the date on your system and it will count. I have no idea for CERTAIN, but I remember hearing about this achievement and that you can do that.

I did the Ironman mode on Gears 5 on insane difficulty that makes you restart the entire game if you die and I've never been more pissed than when I beat the game on the third try only to find out the setting somehow turned itself off at some point during that third playthrough and I didn't even know right after since Xbox achievements are pretty commonly delayed so I usually wait a while before knowing if an achievement didn't unlock but nope

Glad to see "Pull my finger" on this list, I spent just over 30 hours grinding for this item alone. Also 250k points shouldn't take you an hour, it took me about 15-20 minutes each time once you get comfortable with the controls.

Lost planet 2 also has 1 of the hardest achievements ever.
A (small) part of that is to get number 1 on the leaderboard for a training course. Since that game is 13 years old and some people hacked some of the leaderboards it is nearly impossible.
