I felt the marketing for this and Elemental was done poorly and impacted on whether people went to see either movie. Elemental turned out to be a nice surprise.

It’s a good thing I watched it without looking at any trailers, I genuinely got surprised at the plot twist, overall it’s not a bad movie, it’s definitely for younger audiences.

I enjoyed this film, i only saw a piece of it in theatres. The animation was awesome and characters were funny, in addition Dreamworks making mermaids evil was good because mermaids in myths good be good or bad.

My prom story: Never wanted to go to prom, got asked to prom, dumped a week before prom, pressured to go, went by myself, only thing I learned is that I missed nothing. On the brighter side my future husband was at my prom although he was not a student.

The closest thing we have to a Kraken is the Colossal Squid, which measure up to 43 feet long. Luckily, they only live in the deep-seas so no boat-sinking for them.

Building a ship in a bottle is a particularly challenging hobby - not simply building an elaborate scale model but having to maneuver each and every piece into place through the tiny opening. Props to anyone who can produce a ship that appears seaworthy!

I thought the movie was decent. I love the music and soundtrack of the movie tho. And apparently the mermaid is supposed to be accruate to their original myth counterparts. I heard idk since real life mermaids are not as friendly as the disney one. Also I loved ruby because of the giant kraken battle which reminded me of Godzilla, Ultraman, Power Rangers, Pacific Rim so on

On 6/6/14 I skipped my junior prom to go to an R5 concert and I got a prom dance with Ross Lynch! So much better than a regular school prom could ever be! Video is on YouTube

This is one of the best DreamWorks movies and I think this was amazing. It had the same topics as Turning Red but they handled them better. I seriously think DreamWorks deserves more love

Fun Fact: Not only was the first teaser not released until three months before it hit theaters, but they spoiled the big twist villain reveal, and almost everything else in said teaser. Overall, I like this movie pretty well, but it's nowhere near DreamWorks' masterpieces from the previous year.
