I see Buddhism as more a philosophy than a religion.

Out of all religions this one is the most useful. At least it describes the actual suffering in our minds.

All other religions that I know of seem to celebrate a divine being, whereas Buddhism teaches you to celebrate the divinity within yourself. I love it! 🙏🏽

The thing I love about Buddhism is that it preaches how to have a cool, calm, collected mind by adopting a simple life principle about lowering your desires. It's a simple, yet profound teaching that maximizes your potential to truly be at peace with how your life's going.

I sent an email to this guy and he answered it in a half an hour. I listen to these every day for encouragement. I am trying to get my life together because it is a Shit show. I just want to say that I love this person and everyone here

"Suffering cracks open the shell of ego, and then comes a point when it has served its purpose. Suffering is necessary until you realize that it is unnecessary." - Eckhart Tolle, Stillness Speaks

Life is truly a suffering and by acquiring wisdom we peel the layers of that dread to find the truth of inner peace.

Buddhist monk here, This is pretty good compared to most generic Buddhist videos on youtube, good accurate dhammapada quotes and good choices of selected quotes. Theres a few things I could get nit-picky about, but for what this video is meant to be it is well done and better then most out there. :)

I discovered and put into practice Meditation about five years ago. It has changed my life, my being. I no longer worry or hang on to things at all. I thought that was not possible but, to my delight, that voice in my head is now positive and does not listen to the negative vibes of the world or others. I will Meditate until the day I die. It works and it is beautiful.

This is why I’m drawn to Buddhism. I love the philosophical aspect rather than rules and mindless routine. It exercise our mind to understand nature of things and acceptance. I’m so glad I came across this channel.

I attended a 10 days silent meditation retreat teaching the technique passed on by Buddha 6 months back. One of the most life changing experience I've had. I found inner peace. I still continue to meditate an hour a day till date
