Comedian Mike Birbiglia, his wife, and his cat take a trip together and meet some parasitic zombie mice.

Nearly 50 actors, singers, dancers, musicians, and comedians joined Ira Glass onstage at the Brooklyn Academy of Music's Opera House on June 7, 2014, to try some things they'd never tried before. The result? Journalism turned into opera, into plays, into a Broadway musical (by Lin-Manuel Miranda, starring Lindsay Mendez and Anthony Ramos). Comedy from Mike Birbiglia and Saturday Night Liveā€™s Sasheer Zamata. Songs from Stephin Merritt of the Magnetic Fields. Dance from Monica Bill Barnes & Company. Video directed by Seth Lind and produced by Ben Cohen and Ben Katz.

This is the first time Iā€™ve seen this dude and I can tell heā€™s a damn good comedian. Probably a genius comedian. Everything he says has meaning and is part of the entertainment. His delivery is excellent and his timing is too. He doesnā€™t have a dull moment in his act.

He is so funny. His timing and his voice are just great. Nice to hear stories like this that are wholesome. I would pay to see him live.

That was brilliant. Mike knows how to not only wrap up a joke but his entire show so well.

Always been a fan of MB. Heard this on an XM comedy channel yesterday while driving and was happy to find the same bit online. It was just as funny the second time around. I played it for my wife and she even got a kick out of it. She has a preference for non-swearing comedians, and Mike B is one of the best at that.

I have never seen Ira Glass until this moment. He's much older than I thought.
